The resorts incorporate not only hotels, but also shops and attractions that are located nearby so that you can experience all the fun of holidaying on the island but without having to go very far. Many of these are located close to a beach so that everything you could need is close at hand.
If youre looking for a holiday on Majorca that doesnt have such a tourist-trap feel to it, Camp de Mar is relatively unspoiled and offers a great opportunity to spend time on Majorca without getting caught up in the noise found elsewhere. Although relaxation is very much the order of the day in this part of the island, golfers will find themselves near to a nicely manicured course, and some hotels do provide in-house entertainment for those who want it. On the other side of the scale, El Arenal is the place to be if nightclubbing is the main purpose of your holiday.

Its a place you can visit as a 18-30s single person to enjoy the night and beach life, then again with your family once youre more settled down, and later as an older person more interested in golf than grooving the night away!
